Not hurting Latham's chances: Carr

NSW Premier Bob Carr today denied his Government's unpopularity could cost Labor the federal election.
Senior Labor figures are said to be concerned that the Carr Government's troubles in health and transport could see voters swing against Labor federally in the handful of marginal NSW seats it needs to win.
Of particular concern is the closure of the Casino to Murwillumbah rail line in the Nationals' federal seat of Richmond on the state's far north coast.
