Video Poker
|
| General Information |
The object of Video Poker is to get the best possible combination out of a 5 card hand. But first, you must choose the face value of the tokens you want to play with.
Once you have inserted some money in the machine and you have selected the face value of the tokens you want to play with, the total amount of available tokens is displayed in the "credits" field. For example, if you deposit $20 in the machine, and you select the $1 tokens, you will see 20 available credits in the field. If you choose $0.25 tokens, the total available credits will go up to 80. The "coins" field displays the amount of tokens that you have selected to wager for your next game.
Once you have inserted some money in the machine and selected the face value of the tokens you want to use, you must click on the "bet one" button as often as you wish or click on "bet max" which is 5 credits. Next, you have to start the game by clicking in the "Deal" button and you will receive 5 cards. The machine uses a deck of 52 cards (53 for Joker Poser and other Poker games that uses wildcards). The deck is re-mixed after every game. You then have to select the cards you wish to keep in order to reach the goal of having the best possible poker combination. You can simply click the cards you wish to hold. A "hold" mention will appear underneath the held cards. When done selecting your cards, click "Deal" once again. The cards that have not been held (the unmarked ones) will be replaced. If after this replacement, you obtain a combination that is worth something, your winnings will be added to your total available credits.

| Jacks or Better |
When playing Jacks or Better, a pair is only worth something if it is a pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces. Any pairs lower than those will not win you any money.
